WCHS Library

Basic Information

The WCHS library serves as a place for students to not only check out books, but also as a place to study and to conduct research.  The library is also headquarters for the Eagles Nest school store. Students may purchase necessities such as pens, pencils, notebook paper, notebooks, index cards, etc.

Library Hours 

7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Check Out Policy

Items are checked out for 2 weeks and may be renewed twice. Items must be brought to the library to be renewed.  Fines of $.10 per day are assessed on overdue items. 

Internet Access

The WCSD requires that students using online materials to have read and agreed to the Acceptable Use Policy found on page 112 of the handbook.

Printing

Both a color and black/white printer are available for student use. Color pictures are $.25 per page; black and white pictures are $.15 per page.

Destiny Portal

Use the Destiny Portal to access the WCHS library collection.

How to do a basic Destiny search.

1. Click on the link above and choose Wayne County High School.

2. Type in the term you are researching in the find box and click keyword.
